# Remember the Font vs hex

The clearest difference is ads: Remember the Font at none against hex's shown. Remember the Font also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). hex's advantage is ratings volume (21 vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Remember the Font against 5.0 for hex. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: hex has 21 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
