# Kounts vs Daze

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Daze at none against Kounts's 9. Daze also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). Kounts's advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kounts sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year. Daze asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Kounts against 5.0 for Daze. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kounts has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Kounts ships an update every 4 days, Daze every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
