# Kounts vs DayDrop

The clearest difference is update cadence: Kounts at every 4 days against DayDrop's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kounts sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and DayDrop sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Kounts ships an update every 4 days, DayDrop every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
