# Big Chess vs Coverage Chess

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Coverage Chess at none against Big Chess's 3. Coverage Chess also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). Big Chess's advantage is ratings volume (35 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Big Chess sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Coverage Chess asks for nothing beyond the download.

Coverage Chess holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Big Chess has 35 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
