# TalkWave vs Ancient Chat

The clearest difference is rating: TalkWave at 5.0 against Ancient Chat's 4.3. Ancient Chat's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (69 vs 1). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TalkWave holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ancient Chat has 69 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
