# RXd vs AFTRBRN

The clearest difference is update cadence: AFTRBRN at every 8 days against RXd's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RXd sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and AFTRBRN sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $12.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RXd ships an update every 2 weeks, AFTRBRN every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
