# TADE vs Goon Counter

The clearest difference is ads: Goon Counter at none against TADE's shown. Goon Counter also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (100% vs 89%). TADE's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (286 vs 5). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TADE sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Goon Counter sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for TADE against 4.8 for Goon Counter. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TADE has 286 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 89% of TADE's written reviews are positive against 100% of Goon Counter's.

TADE ships an update every 2 weeks, Goon Counter every 3 months. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
