# macaroList vs Task(ed)

The clearest difference is update cadence: Task(ed) at weekly against macaroList's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. macaroList sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Task(ed) sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

macaroList ships an update fortnightly, Task(ed) weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
