# Tinify vs Shrinkit

The clearest difference is update cadence: Shrinkit at every 2 weeks against Tinify's every 4 weeks. Shrinkit also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tinify sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and Shrinkit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tinify ships an update every 4 weeks, Shrinkit every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
