# Trip Peaks vs Wander

The clearest difference is update cadence: Trip Peaks at weekly against Wander's every 2 months. Wander's advantage is ratings volume (29 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.5 vs 18.2). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Trip Peaks sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $7.99 per month and Wander sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Trip Peaks against 5.0 for Wander. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wander has 29 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Trip Peaks ships an update weekly, Wander every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
