# TickChecker vs Rushmap

The clearest difference is monetization model: TickChecker at free with in-app purchases against Rushmap's subscription. TickChecker also leads on review sentiment (34% vs 13%) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). Rushmap's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TickChecker sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Rushmap sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $10.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TickChecker holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TickChecker has 1.7K ratings behind it against 327, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 34% of TickChecker's written reviews are positive against 13% of Rushmap's.

TickChecker ships an update every 5 weeks, Rushmap every 3 days. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
