# Jetpack IPTV vs The IPTV Player

The clearest difference is update cadence: Jetpack IPTV at every 3 days against The IPTV Player's fortnightly. The IPTV Player's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jetpack IPTV sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and The IPTV Player sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Jetpack IPTV ships an update every 3 days, The IPTV Player fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
