# Comic Reader vs QNI FMV

Comic Reader and QNI FMV are too close to call on the numbers: across 6 compared parameters — price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.

Both are free to download. Comic Reader sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per year and QNI FMV sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Comic Reader ships an update every 2 weeks, QNI FMV every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
