# Sand Blast vs Elementle

Sand Blast and Elementle both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Elementle's written reviews are positive against 52% of Sand Blast's. Sand Blast's advantage is ratings volume (17K vs 9). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sand Blast sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Elementle sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Sand Blast against 4.8 for Elementle. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sand Blast has 17K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 52% of Sand Blast's written reviews are positive against 100% of Elementle's.

Sand Blast ships an update fortnightly, Elementle every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
