# Splitly vs The Tab

The clearest difference is update cadence: The Tab at every 2 days against Splitly's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Splitly ships an update fortnightly, The Tab every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
