# SMS to Email Forwarder vs Screen Time Control

The clearest difference is rating: Screen Time Control at 4.8 against SMS to Email Forwarder's 4.5. Screen Time Control also leads on ratings volume (77 vs 8). SMS to Email Forwarder's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 83%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SMS to Email Forwarder sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Screen Time Control sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Screen Time Control holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Screen Time Control has 77 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of SMS to Email Forwarder's written reviews are positive against 83% of Screen Time Control's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SMS to Email Forwarder ships an update weekly, Screen Time Control fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
