# apptoken vs Descreened

The clearest difference is update cadence: Descreened at every 11 days against apptoken's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. apptoken sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Descreened sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

apptoken ships an update every 3 weeks, Descreened every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
