# AI Recorder vs Dokitscript

AI Recorder and Dokitscript both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Dokitscript's written reviews are positive against 0% of AI Recorder's. Dokitscript also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). AI Recorder's advantage is ratings volume (44 vs 3) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Recorder sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Dokitscript sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dokitscript holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Recorder has 44 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 0% of AI Recorder's written reviews are positive against 100% of Dokitscript's.

AI Recorder ships an update fortnightly, Dokitscript every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
