# Virtual Number vs ScamDrill

The clearest difference is update cadence: ScamDrill at every 3 days against Virtual Number's every 2 months. Virtual Number's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Virtual Number sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and ScamDrill sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Virtual Number ships an update every 2 months, ScamDrill every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
