# lil leaps vs Photo Editor

The clearest difference is rating: lil leaps at 5.0 against Photo Editor's 4.3. lil leaps also leads on ads (none vs shown). Photo Editor's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (40 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. lil leaps sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year and Photo Editor sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

lil leaps holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Photo Editor has 40 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

lil leaps ships an update fortnightly, Photo Editor every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
