# Runify vs FitScribe

The clearest difference is ads: Runify at none against FitScribe's shown. Runify also leads on ratings volume (244 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). FitScribe's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 66%) and update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Runify sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and FitScribe sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FitScribe holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Runify has 244 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 66% of Runify's written reviews are positive against 100% of FitScribe's.

Runify ships an update fortnightly, FitScribe every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and September 22, 2026 respectively.
