# SG All Access vs Trophium

The clearest difference is monetization model: Trophium at free with in-app purchases against SG All Access's subscription. Trophium also leads on ratings volume (39 vs 1) and review sentiment (88% vs 75%). SG All Access's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SG All Access sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Trophium sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SG All Access holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trophium has 39 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of SG All Access's written reviews are positive against 88% of Trophium's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SG All Access ships an update every 3 weeks, Trophium every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
