# Superchat vs Ritmo

The clearest difference is update cadence: Ritmo at every 4 days against Superchat's every 2 weeks. Ritmo also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Superchat sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Ritmo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Superchat ships an update every 2 weeks, Ritmo every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
