# Mathica by LearnWithSherlock vs Pokermancer

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Mathica by LearnWithSherlock at none against Pokermancer's 1. Pokermancer's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (88% vs 57%). On price, rating, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pokermancer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Mathica by LearnWithSherlock asks for nothing beyond the download.

Mathica by LearnWithSherlock holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pokermancer has 152 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Mathica by LearnWithSherlock's written reviews are positive against 88% of Pokermancer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
