# Gonit vs ReadNest

The clearest difference is update cadence: Gonit at every 2 weeks against ReadNest's every 3 months. Gonit also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gonit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and ReadNest sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Gonit ships an update every 2 weeks, ReadNest every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
