# USMLE Ed vs EbbDeck Step 1

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: USMLE Ed at 15.6 against EbbDeck Step 1's 17.0. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. USMLE Ed sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and EbbDeck Step 1 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
