# MoTap vs Glimpse

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Glimpse at 68 against MoTap's 2. On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for MoTap against 4.9 for Glimpse. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Glimpse has 68 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MoTap ships an update weekly, Glimpse fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
