# AskSia vs Flashka

The clearest difference is rating: Flashka at 4.8 against AskSia's 4.1. Flashka also leads on ratings volume (385 vs 64). AskSia's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AskSia sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Flashka sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flashka holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flashka has 385 ratings behind it against 64, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of AskSia's written reviews are positive against 80% of Flashka's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AskSia ships an update weekly, Flashka every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
