# Leaf Reading vs Evil Eye

The clearest difference is update cadence: Evil Eye at every 2 months against Leaf Reading's every 6 months. Evil Eye also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Leaf Reading sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Evil Eye sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Leaf Reading ships an update every 6 months, Evil Eye every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
