# Nerdly vs Recall

The clearest difference is update cadence: Recall at every 8 days against Nerdly's every 6 months. Recall also leads on ratings volume (9 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.2). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nerdly sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Recall sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Nerdly against 5.0 for Recall. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Recall has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Nerdly ships an update every 6 months, Recall every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
