# NoteBase vs Notica

NoteBase and Notica both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 91% of NoteBase's written reviews are positive against 50% of Notica's. NoteBase also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17). Notica's advantage is ratings volume (147 vs 18). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NoteBase sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Notica sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for NoteBase against 4.5 for Notica. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notica has 147 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 91% of NoteBase's written reviews are positive against 50% of Notica's.

NoteBase ships an update every 10 days, Notica weekly. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
