# NoteBase vs ASIS

The clearest difference is device support: NoteBase at 3 against ASIS's 1. NoteBase also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NoteBase sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and ASIS sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NoteBase ships an update every 10 days, ASIS fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
