# Blue Tees LAUNCH vs Golf Gear

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Blue Tees LAUNCH at 63% against Golf Gear's 10%. Blue Tees LAUNCH also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 7). Golf Gear's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.9) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Golf Gear sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Blue Tees LAUNCH asks for nothing beyond the download.

Golf Gear holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Golf Gear has 133 ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Blue Tees LAUNCH's written reviews are positive against 10% of Golf Gear's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Blue Tees LAUNCH ships an update every 2 weeks, Golf Gear every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
