# Cartoon Yourself vs ComiForge

The clearest difference is rating: ComiForge at 5.0 against Cartoon Yourself's 4.4. Cartoon Yourself's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cartoon Yourself sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and ComiForge sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ComiForge holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cartoon Yourself has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Cartoon Yourself ships an update weekly, ComiForge every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
