# Kakooma vs Connect Tracks

The clearest difference is rating: Connect Tracks at 4.7 against Kakooma's 4.2. Connect Tracks also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 8) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). Kakooma's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kakooma sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Connect Tracks asks for nothing beyond the download.

Connect Tracks holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Connect Tracks has 1.3K ratings behind it against 142, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Kakooma's written reviews are positive against 50% of Connect Tracks's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Kakooma ships an update every 3 weeks, Connect Tracks every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
