# NoteBlocks vs LinkWell

The clearest difference is ads: NoteBlocks at none against LinkWell's shown. LinkWell's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.2). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NoteBlocks sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and LinkWell sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
