# WorkBreak vs Simple

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Simple at none against WorkBreak's 1. Simple also leads on ads (none vs shown). WorkBreak's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.6). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WorkBreak sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Simple asks for nothing beyond the download.

WorkBreak ships an update fortnightly, Simple every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 10, 2026.
