# LumiSource vs AP® Core

The clearest difference is ads: LumiSource at none against AP® Core's shown. LumiSource also leads on ratings volume (146 vs 4) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). AP® Core's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
