# ToneKit Ringtone Maker & Alarm vs Ringly

The clearest difference is monetization model: ToneKit Ringtone Maker & Alarm at free with in-app purchases against Ringly's subscription. ToneKit Ringtone Maker & Alarm also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). Ringly's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ToneKit Ringtone Maker & Alarm sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Ringly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
