# Step Tracker vs Capyfit

The clearest difference is update cadence: Step Tracker at every 5 days against Capyfit's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Step Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Capyfit sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Step Tracker ships an update every 5 days, Capyfit monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
