# Hardcore Focus vs Vira

The clearest difference is monetization model: Vira at free against Hardcore Focus's freemium. Vira also leads on update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and iOS requirement (18.6 vs 26.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hardcore Focus sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Vira sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Hardcore Focus against 5.0 for Vira. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12 and 5 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Hardcore Focus ships an update monthly, Vira weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
