# Polyidiom vs Tavi

The clearest difference is update cadence: Polyidiom at every 3 days against Tavi's weekly. Tavi's advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Polyidiom sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Tavi sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Polyidiom against 5.0 for Tavi. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tavi has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Polyidiom ships an update every 3 days, Tavi weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
