# Segment VPN vs Am I Connected

The clearest difference is rating: Am I Connected at 5.0 against Segment VPN's 4.1. Segment VPN's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Am I Connected sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Segment VPN asks for nothing beyond the download.
