# Tip Calculator vs Hourify

The clearest difference is update cadence: Hourify at every 2 months against Tip Calculator's every 8 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tip Calculator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Hourify sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tip Calculator ships an update every 8 months, Hourify every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
