# ChunksEnglish vs EverClass

The clearest difference is monetization model: ChunksEnglish at free with in-app purchases against EverClass's subscription. ChunksEnglish also leads on ratings volume (13 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). EverClass's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ChunksEnglish sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and EverClass sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for ChunksEnglish against 5.0 for EverClass. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ChunksEnglish has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ChunksEnglish ships an update every 4 days, EverClass every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
