# QR Pad vs CertKeeper

The clearest difference is update cadence: CertKeeper at every 5 days against QR Pad's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QR Pad sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $36.99 per month and CertKeeper sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

QR Pad ships an update monthly, CertKeeper every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
