# wBlock vs AdErasr

The clearest difference is price: wBlock at Free against AdErasr's $4.99. wBlock also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (189 vs 6). AdErasr's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks) and review sentiment (100% vs 85%). On ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

wBlock is free to download; AdErasr costs $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

wBlock holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: wBlock has 189 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of wBlock's written reviews are positive against 100% of AdErasr's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

wBlock ships an update every 2 weeks, AdErasr every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
