# Santucci's vs White Yak

The clearest difference is ads: White Yak at none against Santucci's's shown. White Yak also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Santucci's against 5.0 for White Yak. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: White Yak has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Santucci's ships an update every 3 months, White Yak every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
