# Screen Recording ™ vs Before After Video Compare Kit

The clearest difference is rating: Screen Recording ™ at 4.8 against Before After Video Compare Kit's 3.0. Screen Recording ™ also leads on ratings volume (67 vs 1). Before After Video Compare Kit's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Screen Recording ™ sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Before After Video Compare Kit sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Screen Recording ™ holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Screen Recording ™ has 67 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Screen Recording ™'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Before After Video Compare Kit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Screen Recording ™ ships an update every 3 months, Before After Video Compare Kit every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
