# Prune vs Red Flag

The clearest difference is ads: Prune at none against Red Flag's shown. Red Flag's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prune sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Red Flag sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Prune ships an update fortnightly, Red Flag every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
